It’s no secret that LaGuardia has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to food. Luckily the airport has made big strides in the past few years, including additions from Michael White and Pat LaFrieda, but while it undergoes major renovations, travelers can definitely expect the food scene to change. For now, here are your best bets.

World Bean & Yankee Clipper

Terminal A

There’s a grand total of two options in the original Marine Air Terminal (aka Terminal A) built in the 1930s, used mostly for shorter commuter flights. World Bean is your bet for coffee (post-security) and Yankee Clipper (pre-security) has a few assorted sandwiches and snacks to go.

Figs Cafe

Terminal B

Boston chef Todd English designed the menu at this little airport bistro. Expect pizza, pasta and a selection of good wines. Plus there’s a kids' menu. It’s also probably your best sit-down option near Gate D in Terminal B.

Five Guys Burgers

Terminal B pre-security

Sometimes you just need a burger, and Five Guys is your best bet in Terminal B. Chow down in the food court before you head to the dreaded security line.

Cotto

Terminal C

Chef Michael White offers Italian pastas, panini and Naples-style pizzas (including breakfast pizzas for the AM crowd) at this outpost in the Delta Terminal. There’s lots of seating and ordering is done via a tablet at your table.

Artichoke Pizza

Terminal C

Pizza lovers can swing by this counter for a classic Artichoke slice in the food court.

Tagliare

Terminal D

This cozy little spot does pizza right. Dom DeMarco’s son (Dom DeMarco Jr.) quite literally cut his teeth at his father’s legendary pizza spot Di Fara in Brooklyn. These by-the-slice pies also come with quality ingredients and unique toppings straight from the oven.

Bisoux

Terminal D

The menu here is definitely French, especially given Balthazar alums collaborated on it. Swing by the restaurant to order a croque monsieur and glass of wine. It’s all tablet-based ordering here too, and things can be prepared to go.

Custom Burgers by Pat LaFrieda

Terminal C & D

Burger fans rejoice! These counters in the food courts serve the classic LaFrieda patties made to order. If you have a hankering for something sweet, check out the roster of housemade milkshakes.

Crust

Terminal C & D

New Yorkers really love their pizza, so it isn’t a huge surprise to see the large number of options at LGA. Hit up this build-your-own pizza spot from Jim Lahey for fresh pies.
