Looking to take the favorite mom in your life out this Mother's Day? Brunches are going to be busy this Sunday, May 11, so plan ahead - these 10 choices are some of the city's best. Think you'll want a drink? Remember that in many parts of town you can only order booze after 12:30 PM. Keep that in mind when making a reservation - and do make a reservation, or face a seriously annoyed mom.

Astor Court: The restaurant at the St. Regis in Buckhead's putting together an expansive brunch buffet. Mother's Day also features live jazz and a roving cart serving up complimentary Bloody Marys (11:30 AM-4 PM; 404-563-7799).

Babette's Cafe: Take your Francophile mother to this cute Inman Park spot, where Continental traditions overlap with local ingredients and classic dishes (404-523-9121).

Livingston Restaurant & Bar: Bloody Mary and mimosa specials are on offer, and complement an extensive brunch buffet in the Livingston's attractive, historic space ($38 adults, $15 kids six-12, under five free; 404-897-5000).

Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails: How about lunch in a beautiful rural setting? A brunch at this Crabapple restaurant complements a stroll through the gardens where much of your food comes from, and a dinnertime prix fixe will be available if you'd rather come later in the day ($32 adults, $16 kids; $35 dinner; 770-817-0171).

No. 246: Italian-accented brunch items are on order at this Decatur spot, but the real treat's the build-your-own-bouquet flower station for kids to assemble something for mom (678-399-8246).

Old Vinings Inn: Looking for something in a quaint, historic location? A Southern brunch buffet's on order at the Old Vinings Inn, featuring items like lobster ravioli, salmon and eggs Benedict ($35 adults, $15 kids; 770-438-2282).

Seven Lamps: Chef Drew van Leuvan's put together an à la carte Mother's Day brunch running from noon-4 PM and featuring items like a citrus-cured salmon sandwich, a "Crispy Cheese" sandwich and more (404-467-8950).

The restaurant's also offering a flower arrangement for the table you can preselect for an additional fee, and that mom can take home with her (404-554-9995).

Villa Christina: If you're looking for an outdoor brunch (weather permitting), the Italian restaurant adjacent to the newly constructed Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina features carving stations, buffets for kids and adults alike and a number of springtime salads ($45 adults, $25 kids five-12, under five free; 404-303-7700).
