Mixologize: Want to up your cocktail game? Holeman & Finch's "Academy of Bartending" series returns on Saturday, June 28, with a class called Cocktail Creation. Students will learn more intricate bartending techniques and delve into the world of bartender-favorite bitters and vermouths. Lunch and cocktail samples included ($100; 11 AM; 404-948-1175).
Sip: Westside's Bone Garden Cantina delivers a wallop of flavor with its tequila tasting event on Saturday, June 28. A wide selection of the restaurant's spirits come with a five-course tasting menu from the kitchen ($45; 11:30 AM-1:30 PM; 404-418-9072).
Celebrate: Atlantic Station's Irish pub Meehan's celebrates Canada Day on Saturday, June 28, with a daylong party. Street hockey for kids starts at 2 PM, and local Canadian artists will show and sell artwork. Live music kicks off an hour later and runs until the end of the night. Canadian beer and food (mussels, smoked meat, pirogues) fill out a special menu for the day (2-10:30 PM; 404-249-7812).
