Antonelli's Announces New Cheese and Beverage Pairing Classes

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Antonelli’s has announced a new cheese-and-beverage pairing series called Cheers to Cheese. The shop is partnering with some of the biggest names in Austin - Qui, Arro, Houndstooth Coffee and more - to bringing together some of the city's best cocktails, wines and coffee with already amazing cheese. The series starts Sunday, May 11 (hello, perfect Mother's Day gift).

How is it that Antonelli’s, a tiny storefront of artisan cheeses and goods in Hyde Park, has become such an enormous force in this city? It goes beyond their impeccable products, the triple-cream bries and the local breads, jams and jellies that woo customers despite long lines. And it goes beyond their friendliness. The Antonellis have made good on Austin’s close-knit community of chefs and food lovers by collaborating with them. They’ve long gone out of their way to help curate cheese plates at local restaurants, to the point that their name is synonymous with a good appetizer. They’ve also hosted special tastings at places like the Alamo Drafthouse to teach the community about cheese, and their cheese classes at the shop have become enormously popular. We're looking forward to the store's next recipe for success.
