Best Thing We Ate: Ox Tongue Sliders at Contigo

Earlier this week we told you all about oxtail, the next foodie trend. But today it’s all about a different part of the animal: the tongue. These ox tongue sliders have been on the menu since the beginning at Contigo, and based on their popularity, they’ll stick around for awhile.

The tongue comes seared on slices of fresh baguette with pickled green tomatoes and spicy Dijon. That’s a vast improvement over their second anniversary party this past year, which featured a cow-tongue-eating contest that wasn’t for the faint of heart - or mouth.
