Even though tacos are Austin’s official breakfast food, occasionally we also eat them for lunch and dinner. In times like those, this hefty Vietnamese-inspired taco from Tacodeli hits the spot. The beloved restaurant marinates pork shoulder in a green chili tomatillo sweet-and-sour sauce, then grills it and pairs it with carrot-and-daikon escabeche, cilantro and basil.
And in case you were wondering, the restaurant's doña sauce goes with everything, including this Asian-fusion treat. The taco is a special on the menu, not a permanent fixture, so get it while it’s hot.
