Where to Brunch: Hotel San Jose
This Saturday South Congress’ Hotel San Jose is kicking off a jazz brunch series for spring. That means live music from a jazz trio and an all-you-can-eat buffet with dishes like a chorizo egg tart, glazed pepper bacon, latkes and more. Plus they’re serving Jo’s Coffee and cheap drinks like $3 mimosas and their famous micheladas for only $5.
Note: the boutique hotel is serving brunch only on certain Saturdays: In March you should head there on the first as well as on the 29th, and check their schedule for dates in April and May.
The hot spot is known for celebrity sightings (we heard Jason Schwartzman is in town), and $24 for brunch seems like a small price to pay for four hours (10 AM to 2 PM) of people-watching, good food and strong drinks.
