Barbara Lynch and Jamie Bissonnette Score James Beard Awards

There were plenty of honors doled out at last night's James Beard Foundation Awards in NYC - and you can find our slideshow of photos from the big night here. But the big news for Boston is that two of our local culinary players walked away with awards. Barbara Lynch took home the 2014 "Outstanding Restaurateur" honors for her empire, which includes Menton, No. 9 Park, and Sportello, among others. Meanwhile punk rock toque Jamie Bissonnette was named "Best Chef: Northeast" thanks to his work at Toro and Coppa. You can find the full list of winners here, but raise your glass (or fork?) to our award-nabbing local legends.
