Deal of the Week: Coppa Launches Weekday Wine Flights

Chef Jamie Bissonnette has some nice news to toast: This month his work at Coppa earned him a James Beard nomination for Best Chef: Northeast. (Check out all the finalists here.) And if you need a new reason to stop in to the South End space, here's a great one: Coppa has just launched a new weekday wine flight series. Each installment (Sundays-Wednesdays), will focus on a different Italian wine region and offer three half-glasses for just 15 bucks, plus suggested food pairings. You can still stop in tonight to take advantage of this week's pours, based on the Emilia-Romagna region; expect a trio of Lambrusco vinos, plus the suggested pairing of a salumi sampler (beef heart pastrami, please) and an uni panino. Next week the flights move on to Sicily, and wine picks of Nerello Mascalese and Frappato. (253 Shawmut Ave; 617-391-0902)
