East Somerville may not have the trendy luster of, say, the South End dining scene. But here's what it does have: diversity. The streets here are lined with cuisine from Ethiopia to El Salvador, Haiti to Mexico. And diners with globe-trotting palates can stamp their proverbial passport over a dozen times during the "East Broadway Foodie Crawl" on September 10, when restaurants along this culinary corridor will offer tastings (6-8 PM) that reflect five different continents. Ticket-holders will receive a guidebook outlining participating spots like Sicilian favorite Vinny's, Ethiopian gem Fasika and new kid on the block East End Grille (pictured). One of three participants that will also be hosting post-event "dessert parties" (8-9:30 PM) with live music and other entertainers. For a full list of participating spots and to grab tickets ($20), head here.
