Here's the Menu for Loretta's Last Call, Opening TomorrowBy Scott Kearnan | June 19, 2014 By Scott Kearnan | June 19, 2014
Hungry for honky-tonk? Good. Because here's what you'll eat and drink at Loretta's Last Call, opening tomorrow at 1 Lansdowne Street by Fenway Park. The Southern restaurant and country music bar comes to us from the Lyons Group, the same team behind swanky spots like Back Bay Social Club, Newbury Street stalwart Sonsie, and Alibi in the trendy Liberty Hotel. Loretta's, though, is taking a down-home approach. The wood-paneled interior looks like the roadhouse of Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson's dreams; after all, it will be hosting live country and bluegrass bands. And before you do-si-do you'll dine on a selection of scrumptuous-sounding Southern fare: like hushpuppies with honey bourbon butter, lobster grit cakes with Tabasco, fried chicken galore, a Country Ham Dinner with biscuits and gravy, and a Southern Fish Fry of catfish, shrimp and pickled okra. For drinks, you'll find cocktails and canned beers complemented with an intoxicating selection of whiskeys and modern moonshine: including the "less than 30 days old!" Georgia Moon Fruit Jar and the 100-proof Midnight Moon Blueberry.
Check it out, then two-step over there this weekend:
