Pastry Chef Jaime Davis Moves to Deuxave
There's a sweet new addition to the team at Deuxave. This week pastry chef Jaime Davis ties on her apron at chef-owner Chris Coombs' Back Bay French, moving over from bigwig Barbara Lynch's Beacon Hill flagship No. 9 Park. It was during her four years at Park, where the New Hampshire native and young Johnson & Wales grad overhauled the bread program, that Davis was nominated for Food & Wine’s 2012 “People’s Best New Pastry Chef” award and launched Sugar Rush 2013, a pastry chef showcase. Deuxave has been doing just fine, but landing Davis sounds like icing on the cake (617-517-5915).
