Pizza Returns to NeboBy Scott Kearnan | October 2, 2013 By Scott Kearnan | October 2, 2013
Ever move into a new home or apartment - one that looks like a dream - only to find that the pipes don't work? (Insert: wah-wah horn.) That's the situation Pallotta sisters, Nebo owners Carla and Christina, found themselves in after they moved to their larger, gorgeous and gleaming new digs by Atlantic Wharf in June. For three months, non-working pizza ovens and ventilation issues kept them from serving up their pies. (Which is sort of a bummer for an Italian restaurant.) But no more! Effective last night, pizzas have made their grand return, in both familiar form (Nebo staple the Gino, with spicy sausage, hot cherry peppers and mozzarella) and in new incarnations like the Lardo, with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, sage and mozzarella. Add rent control, and Nebo is now officially a dream home.
