Where to Brunch This Weekend: Towne Stove & SpiritsBy Scott Kearnan | October 25, 2013 By Scott Kearnan | October 25, 2013
Brunch buffets sound nice in theory. But too often, we saunter up to the spread only to discover a bin of tepid eggs and a few lonely pancakes with the consistency of a flat tire. That's the moment we regret not choosing sleep. Towne Stove & Spirits, though, is renewing our faith in the bottomless brunching concept with its new weekend service: an array of made-to-order and self-serve stations with endless pastries and breads, build-your-own omelets and pancakes, a carving station with rotating meats and more. (Plus: cocktails.) A cool $38 per person gets you an endless supply of sweet and savory fixin's, but listen up: e-mail a reservation to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 PM on weekdays, and your weekend reservation will be $10 off. So you save a little room in your wallet, if not your stomach (617-247-0400).
