Chef José Andrés and his wife officially became U.S. citizens today as evidenced by this tweet (previously delayed by the government shutdown). The chef first arrived in the U.S. in 1990 to work in NYC kitchens before moving to DC a few years later. Andrés recently expanded to Miami and is planning new projects in LA, DC and Vegas. Congrats all around!
