5 Things to Eat & Drink This Weekend: Wagyu Burgers, Champagne Cocktails

Your weekend eating and drinking checklist has arrived. And what a delicious weekend it's going to be with Pitchfork providing cool tunes and hot bites along with a new brunch menu at Fig & Olive. 

  • Brunch

    This week, Fig & Olive launched a French Riviera-inspired lunch menu, and this weekend brunch gets the gourmet treatment via dishes like organic egg omelets with herbs, scallion, asparagus and goat cheese.

  • Burger

    Sola launches its new late-night menu, which is available Thursdays through Sundays after 10 PM. Expect options like the house Wagyu burger topped with caramelized onions and cambozola cheese on a pretzel bun.

  • Popsicle Cocktail

    With most of the city’s bartenders at Tales of the Cocktail, we’re looking at alternate drinking options such as this popsicle cocktail at Shanghai Terrace with a lychee, orange or peach popsicle served in a glass of brut champagne.

  • Beer

    For those going to Pitchfork this weekend, the beer of choice is the summer pilsner specially brewed by Goose Island in collaboration with the music festival. It's dry-hopped pilsner and brewed to be a light, refreshing option to combat this weekend's heat.

  • Pizza

    Whether or not you are going to Pitchfork, you can take advantage of the festival specials at Nellcote, including $10 for beer and pizza as well as $7 vodka cocktails and Baderbräu bottles.
