Aviary Adopts Online Ticket Reservation SystemBy Sarah Freeman | November 7, 2013 By Sarah Freeman | November 7, 2013
Uber-swanky cocktail lair The Aviary used to only take day-of reservation requests via email, where guests could request a preferred window of time to enjoy a boozy meal of mind-bending cocktails. Now the bar is transitioning to a similar online ticketing system as Next and Alinea. The system requires a profile that guests can log into to see open tables. Currently, half of the dining room is listed in the system - the other half remains open for walk-ins. Package options available online are a $135 five-course cocktail menu paired with food, the $50 three-course cocktail menu or a $20 per person deposit that is applied toward the final bill for a la carte. The kitchen table is still only available through email, but tables through the end of the month are now available here.
