It's about to be the end of an era for Courtright's, the esteemed fine dining temple in Willow Springs. Husband-wife owners Rebecca and William Courtright announced that their namesake restaurant will close for good after dinner service on New Year's Eve.
Opened in 1995, Courtright's has come to be revered as one of the most reputable high-end dining destinations in the Chicagoland area, earning "extraordinary" 27s across the board in the 2014 Zagat survey. The comfortable oasis includes meals prepared by executive chef and native Frenchman Jerome Bacle, top-tier hospitality and a forest preserve located right outside. As the Chicago Tribune reports, the decision to close was a matter of moving on to the next adventure for the Courtrights. We wish them, Bacle and the entire staff the best of luck in their future endeavors.
