The Florentine celebrates three successful years with three dishes for $11.11 on 11/11. Chef Chris Macchia will prepare antipasti of mushroom carpaccio, carbonara pizza and whole-wheat pasta with duck sugo for the all-day birthday celebration (312-660-8866).

A very special bottle of 90-proof Old Forester has made its way to Big Star. It's the first private selection in the state and will be served during an Old Fashioned Old Forester party from 6-9 PM. Specialty cocktails and $3 shots of Old Forester Signature will be available as well as the first pours of Old Forester's Birthday Bourbon (773-235-4039).

Dryhop’s beer bar turns into a coffee bar for one night only when it releases a collaboration with Intelligentsia. My Mirrors Are Black is a Cuban coffee stout brewed with Intelligentsia’s Yirgacheffe Ethiopia coffee blend, guava, blueberry and candi sugar. From 6-10 PM, guests will have the chance to try the beer as well as Yirgacheffe Ethiopia coffee blend served three different ways - V60, Chemex and Café Solo (773-857-3155).

From Thursday through Saturday, Francesca’s Forno offers the “Feast of the Pigs” menu, which includes a whole-roasted suckling pig stuffed with fall fruits, prunes, apricots and winter greens, as well as pork-covered pasta and assorted cured meats. The piggy menu is available a la carte and reservations can be made online.
