NoMI Introduces Pop-Up Pastry Boutique

It may not have a chocolate waterfall, but the chocolate pop-up at NoMI is the next best thing to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Pastry chef Meg Galus enlisted the help of Rare Tea Cellars to source unique varieties of chocolate, such as milk chocolate chai tea and fine chocolates from Valrhona, Cacao Barry, Felchlin, Guittard and Amedei. Oompa Loompas hopefully were involved in stocking endless rows of bonbons, lollipops, caramels, handcrafted chocolate bars and traditional French patisseries along the lines of éclairs, tarts and petits gateaux. You can also snack on macarons, cookies and brownies while perusing the selection of spreads, hot chocolate mix and customizable gift boxes. Galus will be on hand to act as a tour guide through her candy land while also adding finishing touches on the gourmet delights. The shop will be open from 1 to 8 PM starting tomorrow and closing on May 11 (Mother's Day).
