If dinner prepared by Paul Kahan in the orchard of Virtue Cider’s Virtue Farm doesn’t sound too shabby, then break out the checkbook for the Green City Market Junior Board’s epic auction. In conjunction with its fall fundraiser, A Mostly Veggie Affair, the board hopes the auction will raise an additional $20,000 to support the market's education programs.
The 14 prized items range from a party for 20 on the patio of Honey Butter Fried Chicken to a day of brewing with Jared Rouben at his soon-to-open Moody Tongue brewery. Other hands-on experiences include a day in the test kitchen at Frontera Grill and a private cooking class with chef Carrie Nahabedian, followed by lunch at Brindille.
All of these items are up for grabs now through October 6 in the virtual auction.
