Where to Eat Brunch This Weekend: Kanela

By Sarah Freeman  |  November 22, 2013

This weekend will double as the official warm-up for Thanksgiving. Before taking on multiple servings of meat and carbs, stretch your stomach with Kanela's autumnal treats. This weekend’s brunch features pumpkin caramel waffles topped with candied walnuts and a caramel drizzle as well as seasonal drink specials. The spiked pumpkin latte made with dark rum, Kahlua and Baileys is served hot with pumpkin spice syrup, espresso steamed milk and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon powder. If that combo doesn’t get you into the holiday spirit, nothing will.
