Chances are you have the day off on Monday. If not, we apologize and suggest you take that up with your employer. For the rest of us, Publican Quality Meats will be serving a special BBQ brunch on Monday. They will fire up the grills in the parking lot to prepare a menu full of seasonal specials. Dishes iinlcude corn and cheese arepas with breakfast sausage gravy, pickled cherry bombs and fried eggs; melon salad with feta, mint and poblano vinaigrette; piri piri chicken thigh with fennel, orange and arugula salad topped with fried eggs on focaccia; and banana bread with whipped ricotta, grilled stone fruit and basil. The butcher shop and deli also serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu changes weekly, but it always posted beforehand on its website. One offerings that never changes is the Butcher’s Bloody Mary with a garnish of aged meats and housemade pickles.
