Where to Eat Brunch This Weekend: The Publican

Have brunch and do some good for Chicago at the same time. This weekend marks the final days of The Publican’s annual food drive. The restaurant is collecting non-perishable food items in exchange for a complimentary beer, pork rinds or, the crème de la crème, a brunch pastry. Rewards can be enjoyed immediately or saved for a later date, but why delay pastry satisfaction. The baked goods selection, like the brunch menu, changes from Saturday to Sunday and includes sour cream old-fashioned doughnuts, cinnamon streusel coffee cake and pecan sticky buns.

All food donations will go to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
