Baby, it's cold outside. (Finally!) So it's time to take advantage of the scant couple of months we have to enjoy curling up by a fire with a hot toddy or snuggling into a booth for an intimate dinner. Here are eight of the coziest spots in Dallas–Fort Worth.

  • Library Bar
Located inside the historic Warwick Melrose Hotel, this piano bar in Oak Lawn has an old-school vibe that's utterly cool. Sink into one of the overstuffed leather chairs with a glass of scotch while listening to a little live lounge music and it'll be last call before you know it.

  • Henry's Majestic
There might not be chestnuts roasting, but this tavern near Knox Street has two fireplaces. Outside, you can enjoy the coziness of the fireplace on the patio just off the main bar. The interior fireplace (pictured above) divides the bar area from the main dining room and there are multiple seating choices close enough to hear the crackle.

    The Mansion Bar
At the famed Rosewood Mansion Hotel on Turtle Creek, there are also two fireside options. Inside the intimate bar is a roaring fire that beckons patrons to its glow for a single-malt or hot toddy. But as long as it's not raining, the outdoor fireplace (pictured above) is a wonderfully romantic setting. They'll even bring you a blanket for extra warmth.

  • Fireside Pies
The coziness is indicated right in the name of this local pizza chain. While the cooks are keeping warm by the pizza oven, you'll want to snag a table near one of the fireplaces.
