Uptown’s casual steakhouse Del Frisco’s Grille has added a slew of new items to its already tasty lunch menu, and we got a chance to taste some of them. Highlights include a fresh kale and Brussels sprouts salad, rich with orange segments, nuts and cranberries; blistered shishito peppers; and filet medallions Oscar. The dish that stuck in our head was the Southern fried chicken sandwich. The sizeable deep-fried breast comes dressed in lettuce shreds, pickles and the thousand Island-reminiscent Sloppy Sauce, and tucked into a bun with just the right amount of crisp, fluff and give. The fries that came on the side helped make it even harder to rip ourselves away from this plate - or maybe we just wanted to keep using that adorable little ketchup bottle!
