Henry’s Majestic Debuts Lunch

Popular McKinney Avenue tavern Henry’s Majestic unveiled lunch service recently, offering up not only a handful of new entrees not available on the dinner menu, but some midday cocktails as well. The culinary minds behind the menu — exec R&D chef Adam Kovac and general manager Roe DiLeo — stick to the restaurant’s farm-fresh, scratch-made aesthetic in adding plates like a grapefruit-flecked red and golden beet salad (below), pork belly salad, and an Akaushi rotisserie ribeye sandwich. Standouts include a grilled kale and ahi tuna entrée with a mound of cold soba noodles and char siu sauce (at top), a warm rotisserie chicken wrap with peppers and avocado mayo; and a filling meatball grinder with sauce and melty cheese on a baguette. Diner favorites like the marrow-spiked burger, Texas pho and Henry’s spicy shrimp are borrowed from the evening menu (see the full lunch menu here).

For lunchtime tipplers, bar master Alex Fletcher has added a black tea cardamom Collins, the Campari-tinged Never Let The Boss Know, and the white-peach and gingery Crickshaw to the drinks menu. Day drinking abstainers can dive into the bright, nonalcoholic smoked cherry phosphate (see the lunch drinks menu here).

Henry’s Majestic serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM.
