Pyramid Bar Unveils New Artsy LookBy Farah Fleurima | January 15, 2014 By Farah Fleurima | January 15, 2014
Last night, we got an artful eyeful of the revamped Pyramid Bar inside downtown’s Fairmont Hotel, and it was as sumptuous as the food and drinks. Part of a more-than-$10 million renovation of the entire hotel and its public spaces, the bar got colorful new banquettes, a paint job and framed art on the walls, all in an effort to show off its ties to the Arts District that has bloomed around it. The space is now arranged into spaces that make hanging in your own cozy corner with friends easier. Too, snacks from an overhauled Pyramid menu from chef de cuisine Leigh Mills - featuring tastiness such as a slider with a luxurious pat of foie gras - and a bold wine list from sommelier Hunter Hammett with mucho Texas winery representation make settling in here for a while all the more delicious.
