Soup’s On! Luncheon Announces Chefs for 2014 Event

For the sixth year, local nonprofit Stewpot Alliance will present its Soup’s On! Luncheon and Art Sale fundraiser on January 30. The annual meal raises funds to feed the homeless and help at-risk residents with medical services, counseling and job training, among other benefits.

At Soup’s On!, a handful of the city’s top chefs create a signature soup that serves as the luncheon’s first course. Wielding the ladle this year are chefs Brian C. Luscher and Danyele McPherson of The Grape (pictured), Bruno Davaillon of The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Omar Flores of Driftwood, Matt McCallister of FT33, Chad Kelley of Café Pacific, Janice Provost from Parigi, Abraham Salum from Salum and Komali, Nathan Tate from Boulevardier and Jason Weaver of the Omni Dallas.

The reception and art sale will kick off at The Omni Dallas downtown at 11 AM, with lunch starting at noon. Individual tickets cost $150, and there are sponsorships and tables available to reserve as well.
