Much like chefs, local bartenders are having their way with the harvest of the season, using fresh herbs and fruits, even veggies in craft cocktails. Here are a handful to add to your must-sip list.

Peach Blossom at Victor Tangos
This mildly sweet drink (pictured at top) uses a tantalizing hint of white peach. Gin, lemon, honey and a Japanese basil garnish keep it simple and refreshing.

Slick Rick at Bolsa
Canteloupe mixed with Cointreau, Botanist Gin, lavender bitters and lime tastes delightfully summery. Bonus: Specialty cocktails are $5 during happy hour (4:30 to 7 PM).
