Whiskey and Dessert Tasting at Café Modern
The scotch whiskey label’s ambassador Jonathan Wingo will lead guests in sips of liquor and samples of chocolate desserts at the Fort Worth museum’s cafe.
Oak Cliff Cellars Wine Dinner at Nosh
The Highland Park bistro welcomes Oak Cliff Cellars owner JR Richardson to lead a four-course pairing dinner highlighting Rhone-style wines. The $75 meal kicks off with a reception at 6:30 PM.
Mystery Dine Around
The Greater Dallas Restaurant Association returns with its annual culinary bus trip, starting at 5:30 PM with a happy hour and appetizers at British Beverage Company. Guests then split up and board one of several buses that will take them on different tours of local restaurants. The night ends back at the BBC, where folks get to dish about their experiences.
Peticolas Tapping at FM Smokehouse
At 6 PM, the Irving barbecue restaurant will crack into local brewery Peticolas’ Wintervention Strong Spiced Winter Ale and the Sit Down Or I’ll Sit You Down Imperial IPA.
Wine Down Wednesday at III Forks
Every Wednesday, the Addison steakhouse hosts this wine tasting event at 5 PM. For $15, guests can sample six wines and nosh on passed hors d’oeuvres from executive chef Chris Vogeli. Each month’s set of wine events has a theme, and February’s is U.S. versus Europe.
Come As You Are Dinner at The Grape
This month’s wine pairing dinner at the Lower Greenville restaurant (pictured) pairs each of the meal’s three courses with pinot noirs from around the world. Host Katie Lake from Republic Beverage will lead diners on the taste tour of vino and chef Danyele McPherson’s dishes.
