Brewmasters’ Rare Beer Dinner at Old Major
Seven courses, seven hard-to-find brews and a chance to chat with the brewers that made them: blowouts like this usually only occur during the Great American Beer Festival but Justin Brunson’s LoHi destination is making it happen now. Think housemade coppa and sheep’s cheese with Firestone Walker Lil Opal Saison and coffee-rubbed steak with oatmeal-parsnip puree with Cigar City Oatmeal Porter (8 PM; $100 per person. Get tickets here). 3316 Tejon St.; 720-420-0622

Southern Colorado Beer Dinner at West End Tavern
This longtime Boulder pub is dishing up a four-course feast of cracker-fried oysters with remoulade, pulled-pork crêpinettes with apple butter and more to accompany a total of eight beers poured by the head sudsmen at Telluride Brewing Co. and Elevation Beer Co. (6:30 PM; $50 per person). 926 Pearl St., Boulder; 303-444-3535

Dogfish Head Beer Luncheon at The POST Brewing Co.
POST head brewer Bryan Selders welcomes his former colleague at Delaware’s Dogfish Head, famed founder Sam Calagione, to the Lafayette brewery and chicken shack for a three-course lunch that includes char-grilled spareribs and bacon-caramel apple pie - paired with a collaborative beer the duo, pictured, are creating specially for the event (11:30 AM; $55 per person). 105 W. Emma St., Lafayette; 303-593-2066

April 18-19

Great Roads to Great Chefs at The Stanley Hotel
To date, every event in the legendary Estes Park resort’s five-course wine-dinner series has sold out but there are still tickets for the finale. The guests this time are chef Phillip Perrow and Caleb Shriver of Richmond, Virginia’s acclaimed Dutch & Company, so it should be a barn burner (6:30 PM; $100 per person). 333 Wonderview Ave., Estes Park; 970-577-4160

April 19

Held at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, this inaugural beer-and-food festival is bringing together some 70 local breweries and chefs for a pairing extravaganza - or rather two, an afternoon session (11 AM-3 PM) and an evening session (4-8 PM). Today only, tickets are on sale for 25% off; otherwise they’re $55 for the designated-driver’s dining-only package, $95 for the all-inclusive option. Learn more here. 7711 E. Academy Blvd.

FIVE @ Five at Old Major
The apparently tireless Justin Brunson hosts the debut dinner for this year’s all-female crew of FIVE, an annually changing group of chefs working together to bring recognition to Colorado’s culinary scene. Along with Old Major pastry chef and member Nadine Donovan, Table 6’s Carrie Blake, Elway’s Aniedra Nichols, Epicurean Group’s Jenna Johansen and Panzano’s Elise Wiggins will each prepare a beverage-paired course, ranging from duck-egg toad in the hole to prosciutto-and-sage-wapped rabbit loin over smoked-ricotta gnocchi (6 PM; $75 per person. Get tickets here). 3316 Tejon St.; 720-420-0622
