Unless there are some last-minute cancellations, the chances are slim of getting into Frasca Food and Wine's legendary annual Barolo and white-truffle dinner. But you could try by calling 303-442-6966 (it's held tonight and tomorrow, 6:30 PM).

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project Screens Crafting a Nation
Filmmaker Thomas Kolicko’s new documentary about the craft-beer industry (shot partly in Colorado) will screen at 7 PM sharp, followed by a Q&A with industry experts, at Crooked Stave’s tap room inside The Source. Tickets are $10.

Steuben’s Annual Toy Drive
To benefit the Denver Housing Authority, Josh Wolkon’s Uptown hangout is hosting a James Bond-themed costume party complete with eight guest bartenders (including Williams & Graham’s Sean Kenyon), a DJ, a photo booth and a visit from Santa (9 PM-1 AM). The first cocktail comes free for bearers of toys ($10 or less, marked “Boy” or “Girl”), and further libations are $5 apiece.

BRU BEEr Dinner
In addition to brewing and cooking, BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats chef-owner Ian Clark is a beekeeper - and he’s showing off all his wares at this beer-paired dinner. All four courses, served family-style, incorporate honey from his backyard hives, including baked ham in bourbon-cherry sauce (7 PM, $35).

Bull & Bush Brewery Christmas Beer Tasting
Brew buffs flock to the annual extravaganza at the Peterson family’s 40-plus-year-old Glendale pub for good reason: it’s pouring over 100 beers from its famed cellar - among them rare bottlings that, in some cases, date back decades (view the entire eye-popping list here). Twenty bucks get you 20 tickets at the door, each worth anywhere from one to four samples depending on the scarcity of the vintage (6 PM).

Great Divide Brewing Company Beer Dinner with Mikes2 Kitchen
The pioneering Ballpark brewery is hosting a four-course meal with food-truck favorite Mikes2 Kitchen in its tap room (7 PM, $55 per person). Pairings range from smoked pork belly with Brussels sprouts, red-pepper jelly and a Hercules Double IPA to crispy chicken with root-vegetable hash and Peach Grand Cru.

Bordeaux Cellar Dinner at Mizuna
Sommelier Kelly Wooldridge is pulling out all the stops - or rather corks - for this wine dinner at Frank Bonanno’s flagship, showcasing grand- and premier-cru Bordeaux from the 2000 vintage; expect Château Branaire-Ducru, Château Lynch-Bages and others (6 PM, $300 per person). St. Lucia Lunch Buffet at Charcoal Restaurant
From 11 AM to 2 PM, the Golden Triangle eatery is laying out a traditional Swedish spread (or julbord). Think meatballs, cheese-and-bread boards, smoked and pickled fish, a potato-anchovy bake and dessert ($31), plus à la carte glögg, a spiced mulled wine.
