Lest the 30 events we included in our New Year’s Eve roundup weren’t enough to choose from, here are a few more, plus a bonus shindig tonight.
Strange Cheese Incident at Strange Brewing Company
Come 6 PM, mongers from Marczyk Fine Foods are lining up five cheeses to pair with a quintet of beers in the cozy little tap room at Strange Brewing Company ($25).

As of this weekend, there were only a few seats left at Iain Chisholm’s Ballpark Italian, so cross your fingers and call now to book your spot for a five-course dinner accompanied by bottomless Prosecco ($60).

A three-course dinner for two awaits at this Berkeley Greek bistro, with options including lamb sausage sliders with feta, winter-squash striftopita (phyllo-dough tart) and apple-walnut bread pudding. The cost is $60 per couple, or $100 with wine.

Platt Park wine shop The Empty Bottle's charming little small-plates bar next door has planned a four-course prix fixe around items like lobster-and-scallop pesto salad and smoked sausage over lentils, which are also being offered à la carte (5 PM-10 PM, $40).

The kitchen at Isiah Salazar’s modern LoHi haunt is preparing a five-course dinner of French, Italian and Spanish dishes for $55, with optional wine pairings for $20 extra. Just $35, however, gets you into the open bar from 11 PM to 1 AM, when French Nilla & the Decaf Muchacho will keep things hopping.

From Marilyn to Mad Men: Frank Bonanno’s Larimer Square speakeasy (pictured) is throwing a 1950s- and 1960s-themed cocktail party - complete with drink and food specials, a photo booth and live tunes from Jean Marie and Coolsville - from 5 PM to 1 AM. No cover.

The Boulder flagship’s four-course prix fixe reflects the season with dishes such as chestnut ravioli with duck confit and celery purée, lamb chops anchoïade, and the signature sticky-toffee pudding ($85, $125 with wine). Its Denver sibling, meanwhile, has a slightly cheaper (at $75) four-course menu planned, ranging from sunchoke soup with crispy quinoa to diver scallops with monkfish brandade and saffron cream.

Only a few weeks old, this already white-hot American kitchen and lounge promises some surprise goodies and a complimentary toast to augment its regular menu.

Heads up, brew buffs: the LoDo branch of the craft pizzeria and bar is bringing in a DJ to set the mood for food specials and a midnight toast based on a “very special” beer tapping.

Why wait until the sun sets to revel? The doors of this Uptown institution will be opening at 11 AM and staying that way until 2 AM. In the midst of it all, chef Brandon Biederman will be serving up tacos and biscuit sandwiches from the whole pigs he’s roasting on the patio; he’ll also offer select brunch plates through the wee hours, and there’ll be a champagne toast at midnight.
