Caracol Opens to the Public Today at Lunch

After a series of delays, chef Hugo Ortega and Tracy Vaught's Caracol finally opens today for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will feature regional Mexican seafood dishes in an 8,000-sq.-ft. space inside the BBVA Compass Plaza near The Galleria (and next to Osteria Mazzantini). Ortega and Vaught are some of Houston's most successful restaurateurs and run both Backstreet Cafe and Hugo's. Expect great things out of this brand new kitchen.
