Get Tickets to Houston's Exclusive New Supper ClubBy Marcy de Luna | July 8, 2014 By Marcy de Luna | July 8, 2014
Houston, Dinner Lab has landed. The membership-only supper club, which originated in New Orleans and is now in 10 cities, invites you to mix with a new crowd and feast on inventive dishes by budding chefs. No fighting for reservations; no wait for a table; no average night out.
Each pop-up dinner is a new experience. The twice-monthly events take place in unexpected places (a helipad or motorcycle dealership) and offer up-and-coming chefs free reign to create an unforgettable meal (with a minimum of five courses). The only requirement? That the dishes tell a compelling story.
September 5 marks Houston’s first event. Chef Mario Rodriguez (from NYC's Fatty Crab and Gramercy Tavern), will present his favorite Colombian recipes including braised short rib, fish head stew and crab dumplings and six-egg cake with pistachio meringue.
The $125 annual membership grants you access to purchase two tickets to all pop-ups (in Houston or any other city). Each event costs around $55 per person and includes alcohol and gratuity.
Memberships sell out quickly, but Dinner Lab is holding 50 spots exclusively for Zagat readers. Click here for the hottest meal ticket in town.
