1. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House
Why It's Hot: The HRW dinner at the Galleria shopping center locale comes with optional drink pairings including wine (available by the bottle) and the VIP cocktail (pineapple and vodka).

2. The Capital Grill at CityCentre
Why It's Hot: The upscale steakhouse is known for dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and a killer wine list. [Multiple locations.]

3. Fleming's River Oaks

4. Morton's The Steakhouse Downtown

5. Perry's Steakhouse and Grille Clear Lake
Why It's Hot: Casually elegant, the Clear Lake venue has been a staple in the community for more than 20 years.

6. Ruth's Chris Steak House

7. Smith & Wollensky
