There's no better night to try the new Hora Feliz (happy hour) menu at Petty Cash than tonight: the first day back after a long holiday weekend. Launched just this week, find the cheesy churros for $4, those big puffy chicharrones for $3, guacamole for $6, al pastor mini tacos for $6, and cauliflower mini nachos for $5. Additionally, Tecate draft is $4 and margaritas are $6. Monday through Friday from 5-6 PM (7360 Beverly Blvd.; 323-933-5300).

Huy Fong Foods is back in the sriracha business (for now), but if you want a bottle of the chile sauce gratis, check out one of the three local ShopHouse locations for dinner tonight after 5 PM. The first 100 people to order a rice or noodle bowl and give the password "spice hoarder" will get a free nine-ounce bottle of sriracha. Offer is good while supplies last in Santa Monica (1401 3rd Street Promenade), Westwood (1059 Broxton Ave.) and Hollywood (6333 Sunset Blvd.).

Thursday, January 23
The Brite Spot in Echo Park celebrates National Pie Day today with $1.23 slices of pie, pie-themed music, bourbon and whiskey-spiked pies for the late-night crowds, and whole pie sales to benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. Take the latter as a good guiltless reason to demolish a slice of that banana cream pie (1918 Sunset Blvd.; 213-484-9800).

Friday, January 24
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened a new drive-thru in Torrance this week and welcomes the neighborhood with $1 beverages today from 2-6 PM. The drink deal is for espresso-based beverages, including the new Latte Macchiatos (18201 Crenshaw Blvd.).

Saturday, January 25
Take a gallery tour of Le Plaza de Cultura y Artes with art and food historian Maite Gomez-Rejon of Artbites and then dine at Loteria Grill's new Torta Co. at Figat7th in Downtown LA. The tour highlights the California Ranch culture, and the three-course lunch features traditional tortas, a favorite meal for Rancheros and other Loteria side dishes. $45 per person includes the tour, lunch and a beverage. Guests meet at the museum with lunch to follow. Make reservations here

Sunday, January 26
Doma, the under-the-radar Mediterranean spot in Beverly Hills, launches a new lounge menu this week with snacks, wood-fired pizzas and new cocktails priced from $8-$15. The menu includes arancini Bolognese, olive oil-poached tomatoes with burrata cheese, truffle-topped Neapolitan-style pizzas and more. Cocktails, like the Brighton Way Refresher (Hendricks, cucumber, agave, mint, lime), go down easily. The menu is available in the bar daily from 5 PM on (362 N. Camden Dr.; 310-277-7346).
