Aziz on Food: Funny guys and food enthusiasts Aziz Ansari, Eric Wareheim and Jason Woliner "plaque" some of their favorite LA restaurants in their new web series Food Club, with cameos from Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo at Son of a Gun, Craig Thornton at Wolvesmouth, Ilan Hall at The Gorbals and Michael Voltaggio at ink. There's a side trip to an Alhambra banh mi shop, as well as words from one Mr. Jonathan Gold. It's a must-watch. [LAist]

Kahn-troversy: So much for that experiment. Red Medicine has packed up its chicken dumplings and banh mi and gone home - chef Jordan Kahn and operations guy Noah Ellis are no longer involved with the Formosa Cafe. [LAW]

Giada's Guilty Pleasure: Giada eats cold spaghetti with chocolate chips, and divulges nine more funny facts about life as a wife, mom and Food Network star.

Grilled Cheese Central: We took a good melty look at Eric Greenspan's new grilled cheese emporium on Melrose. Latke bites and The Elvis is calling your name.

Seafood Crime: A very popular seafood vendor at the Hollywood Farmers Market has been arrested for theft. It's an unfortunate turn of events for anyone who has regularly bought crabs and other locally caught fish from Sea Fever over the years, but casts a bad light on other vendors who are on the up-and-up. Cochella Recap: Some say the music lineup at Coachella this year was a little weak. But the food? The food was pretty amazing. Here's a look at new (and old) eats, the Outstanding in the Field sit-down dinner, and a preview of Sugarfish's new hand roll concept, KazuNori, which debuted in the Rose Garden. Weekend two is just kicking off, so consider this a primer if you're heading out to the desert.
