Photo of the Week: Soft Shell Crab Heaven at The Hungry Cat Hollywood

Every year around late spring early summer menus all over town throw a spotlight on one crustacean we can never get enough of: the soft shell crab. Usually fried, it comes in a variety of ways, with sauces, salads and sometimes just on its own. David Lentz and The Hungry Cat crew has taken it to new heights — literally — with this beautiful golden fried soft shell piled on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, remoulade and some gorgeous twirls of pancetta. If we weren't typing this right now, we'd be in the car heading over right now. Go quick, though, it's only a fleeting special.
