Echo Park's popular Sage Organic Vegan Bistro soft opened this week with a big splashy grand opening tonight in Culver City. Touting itself as having LA's first all-organic bar, the "world's largest vegan menu" and "first organic/vegan beer garden," it set up shop at the Culver Crossroads shopping center. There's kombucha on tap, more than 10 organic beers and ciders, and 25+ organic spirits for cocktails. The soaring room is rustic-chic with metal pail lanterns and reclaimed wood walls, with both a beer and a real garden outside. There's even a pitchfork to remind you just how farm-to-table they are. The menu is pretty expansive, larger than the original, with everything from salads and soup, to sandwiches, pizzas, snacks and more. These are the same owners as KindKreme, which made our soft-serve list for its vegan offerings, so look for that, too.
