Something for your calendar: a very special dinner will be taking place at Melisse come November, and you'll want a reservatiion. Josiah Citrin and friends Trey Foshee (George's at the Cove), Gavin Kaysen (NYC's Cafe Boulud), Michael Cimarusti (Providence, Connie & Ted's), Michael Tusk (San Francisco's Quince and Cotogna) and Traci Des Jardins (Jardiniere) will combine culinary forces for what we imagine to be an exquisite dinner to help raise money for the Bocuse d'Or USA Foundation. Headed by Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller and Jerome Bocuse, the non-profit foundation recruits, trains and financially supports promising young chefs to compete in the prestigious Bocuse d'Or competition in Lyon, France every two years. The dinner takes place on November 10 and costs $185 per person, with wine pairings $90 or $150 extra. Think: special holiday gift for your favorite foodie.
