25 New Restaurants to Try in the Miami Area

With all the new restaurant openings popping up in the last few months, it might be hard to keep track. Here's a roundup of the most notable recent openings. The restaurants are listed with the newest openings at the top of the slide show - and we'll continue to update this list periodically as additional eateries are unveiled.

  • Seasalt & Pepper (pictured)

  • Il Sole

    Located in The Villa By Barton G. (or the old Versace Mansion), this tiny upscale Mediterranean restaurant with lavish mosaic-laden walls keeps the menu focused mainly on seafood offerings, with the likes of butter-poached lobster and Gulf snapper to steal the show.

  • Kush Wynwood

    The team behind LoKal in Coconut Grove brings a new gastropub burger joint in Wywood with rotating brews on tap and New American comfort food including burgers, fried chicken and infamous brownies made with chopped bacon that are served with a "bag" of greens.
