We love Miami, but sometimes it's nice to get away from the scene and hibernate up north — or at least pretend to. Here are five restaurants in Miami that feel like you're in New York City.

LOBA Restaurant (pictured)

This cozy gastropub (bookshelf-lined walls, heavy wood accents) gives off a chill East Village vibe, but the sophisticated plates brimming with Latin American flavors bring us right back home.
Neighborhood: Upper East Side

The Corner

This charming little gem, with tiny two-top tables and a rustic bar with antique mirror, will make you forget you're in Miami — until you walk outside and come face-to-face with the aptly named Club Space.
Neighborhood: Downtown

The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions

Step inside this always busy hole-in-the-wall and be instantly be transported to hipster-laden Brooklyn, thanks to the taxidermy on the walls, decorative fireplace and faux country decor.
Neighborhood: Upper East Side

Centolire Trattoria Italiana

A newbie to Sunset Drive, this Italian eatery serves authentic homemade pastas and antipasti inside a simple setting, complete with white tablecloths and black-and-white photos. Hello, Little Italy.
Neighborhood: South Miami

Lagniappe

With its live jazz, vintage furniture and low-key vibe, this unpretentious wine bar (more than 150 bottles) feels a bit like '60s-era Greenwich Village — until you step into the tree-lit courtyard.
Neighborhood: Wynwood
