9 Prime Places for Holiday Dining

With all the hustle and bustle of the season, you might not have time to whip up a fancy holiday meal. No problem, let others take over this year. Here are nine excellent spaces to share a fabulous feast.

  • Gotham Steak

    Head to this steakhouse inside the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on either Christmas Eve or Christmas night for its three-course prix fixe holiday menu ($75). Items include roasted pumpkin soup with butternut squash custard, dry-aged 14-oz. New York strip and chocolate crémeux served with caramel popcorn.

  • Cioppino

    The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne's Italian venue hosts a Christmas Eve four-course dinner with wine pairing from 6 PM-10 PM ($115 for adults, $45 for kids). Then on Christmas Day, brunch comes complete with carving stations, various dessert selections and bottomless Prosecco cocktails. Seatings are at 11 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM, priced at $155 for adults and $45 for children.

  • JW Marriott Miami's Trapiche Room

    At this intimate dining space in Downtown, guests can go for an upscale Christmas Eve dinner starting with limoncello lobster bisque and tarragon sabayon and moving onto duck confit with spinach ravioli. Other menu items include speck-wrapped lamb loin served alongside black truffled potatoes and a flourless chocolate dome with pistachio gelato for dessert.

  • Vida

    On December 24-25, this American brasserie will serve a Christmas prix fixe from 5 PM to 10 PM for $45. Diners will enjoy dishes like Florida lobster soup, pan-seared sea trout filet and a gooey melting chocolate sphere made with chestnut cream and drizzled chocolate sauce.

  • The Restaurant at The Setai, Miami Beach

    Guests will be treated to a four-course prix fixe Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner inside this South Beach hotel's Mediterranean restaurant with recently revamped menu. Plates range from chestnut soup with pancetta and roasted porcini to black truffle risotto with fresh shaved burgundy truffles ($110 for adults, $55 for kids age-five to 12).

  • Scarpetta

    This upscale Italian from chef Scott Conant offers a seasonal à la carte menu on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, starting with foie gras served with toasted flat focaccia. Among the entrees are rabbit raviolini with reserved truffles and roasted parsnips, while desserts include a holiday trifle of gingerbread and cinnamon foam.

  • SushiSamba

    Inside this Lincoln Road sushi hot spot, kick off the Christmas feast with a Holiday Flip cocktail (10-year aged port, maple syrup and chocolate bitters). Specialties on offer include roasted cauliflower with charred scallion, robata lamb shank with parsnip purée and eggnog tres leches made with pisco, coconut and cranberry gelée.

  • Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill

    Dine at this bustling Midtown venue during Christmas for its holiday-inspired cooking, starring a roasted suckling pig with braised Swiss chard. To finish, there's an ice cream sandwich made with gingerbread cookies, eggnog ice cream and winter-spiced caramel.

  • Casa D'Angelo Ristorante
