It's March Madness time, and we're pitting some of the greatest bar-food snacks against each other for our Bar Food Bracket. While our first food round might be over, you still have time to vote on the final four. To get you in the mood, here's our favorite place to indulge in each one here in Miami.
Buffalo Wings: Pizza Bar
South Beach's hidden gem, known for its monster pie slices, also serves lick-your-fingers-good wings (10 for $9) that come in a variety of flavors (buffalo, garlic parmesan and barbecue) and heat levels.
1627 Collins Ave.; 305-672-6880
French Fries: Bourbon Steak
Michael Mina's Aventura steakhouse is known not only for its hefty slabs of beef but also the signature trio of duck fat fries ($5) and accompanying dipping sauces served at the bar.
19999 W Country Club Dr.; 786-279-6600
Onion Rings: 5 Napkin Express
Hit up this tiny hole-in-the-wall (next to its original 5 Napkin Grill) to nab a juicy burger, but don't forget an order of its massive thick cut onion rings ($3.75) to go with it.
1659 Drexel Ave.; 305-534-4448
Calamari: Joe's Stone Crabs
This South Beach staple has people lining up for hours to taste its raw bar classics, but the fried eats aren't something to sneeze at either, including its crispy fried calamari ($13.95) served with a key lime curry aioli - and you can don't have to wait in line when you order to-go from the market.
