Best Raw-Bar Offerings in the Miami Area

With temperatures this hot, it's hard to have much of an appetite during the extra-steamy summer months — and that's where oysters and tuna tartare comes in. Here are eight raw-bar offerings that will help fuel you up while cooling you down.

  • Mignonette Miami

Blue Collar's chef Danny Serfer teams up with Miami blogger Ryan Roman for this latest Edgewater conquest parked in a former 1930s gas station, serving a rotating selection of freshly shucked oysters, raw seafood towers and chilled crudo made with salt and citrus.

  • G&B Oyster Bar

Coconuts' upscale sister restaurant is the go-to hot spot for impressive raw-bar selections like boozy oyster shooters and fresh fish crudo.

  • Monty's Sunset (pictured)

This laid-back beach bar in South Beach keeps things super-chill with poolside seating and live bongo players. Get your raw-bar fix via The Bounty, a massive mixed plate with oysters, clams, jumbo shrimp, stone crabs and cold conch salad.

  • The River Seafood and Oyster Bar

From the outside, this Brickell hole-in-the-wall might not look like much, but the sophisticated interior and posh after-work crowd make this a prime perch for enjoying freshly shucked oysters.

  • Meat Market

This Lincoln Road steakhouse is sexy staple on the Miami food scene, but it's not all about the beef. There's also an impressive crudo bar with daily ceviches and freshly made tuna tartare.

  • SUGARCANE raw bar grill

This bustling tapas venue in Midtown always has a cool scene parked inside its airy Havana-style interior, a perfect setting to dig into a whole lot of super-fresh shellfish, including king crab legs and lobster.

  • L'echon Brasserie

The Pubbelly Boy's latest French bistro might offer some hearty plates of veal brains and steak frites, but this cool spot that sits inside Hilton Cabana Miami Beach also delivers a solid raw-bar selection which includes hamachi crudo and daily selection of oysters.

  • Bâoli Miami

This ultrachic SoBe resto-lounge serves plenty of delicious raw dishes — think lime-marinated hamachi ceviche — in a sexy, clublike setting.
