The anticipated Wynwood restaurant SHIKANY has pushed back its opening date again. While it was slated to open April 1, our sources say they are now looking toward the end of next week due to waiting "on a few final permits."
Short Order reports that a new restaurant called Loba will be opening in the MiMo District come May. The new space which translates to "She Wolf" will offer a menu of Latin cuisine mixed with Southern comfort food.
The SLS Hotel South Beach's own Katsuya restaurant will offer lunch exclusively for Winter Music Conference. Miami.com says that the Japanese space will be opened March 26-30 from 12-3 PM and will offer dishes like spicy "yellowtail rolls, chicken nigima and lamb chops."
According to Eater.com, Uvaggio wine bar will officially open tonight in Coral Gables. The quaint "European-style restaurant" encourages guests to choose a wine that will then be paired with "corresponding" dishes like short rib with black licorice tea consommé.
