On Tap This Week: Sake Pairing and Rock Shrimp Making

South Beach's Haven presents its Video Wednesdays with Double Feature Dinner Special on April 2 from 9 PM-5 AM. While guests enjoy music video projections on the lounge's LED walls, dinner will also be served featuring two skewers, two sliders or two sushi rolls (think: falafel sliders or everything roll) paired with a Ciroc-infused cocktail. The cost is $25 per person (305-987-8885).


Yakko-San offers its Spring Surprise Masumi sake pairing on April 3 from 6-8 PM. Attendees will try various sakes including Arabashiri and Daiginjo alongside a six-course menu prepared by the Japanese venue's chef. The pairing is $60 per person (305-947-0064). 


Chef Cindy Hutson hosts her Cuisine of the Sun cooking class inside Ortanique on the Mile on April 5 from 11:30 AM-2:30 PM. Students will learn how to make the chef's signature dishes like red strip beer rock shrimp and lobster linguini along with red velvet mini bundt cakes. The price is $108 per person (305-446-7710).
