News broke yesterday of Michelle Bernstein's involvement in Commune Hotels & Resorts's Thompson Miami Beach hotel, opening in late 2014, and now we have a few more details. The hotel will reside in former beachfront property Crown Miami Beach Apartments (pictured) - known for is Art Deco decor and historic 1950s architecture - after a swanky multi-million dollar renovation. Teaming up with the Michy's chef will be KNR Hospitality Group (behind Living Room and Cavalli Miami), which will help run Bernstein's currently unnamed casual brasserie, the in-room dining program, the poolside menu and bar service. We also hear you'll want to stick around after dinner, because there will be a Prohibition-inspired Library Bar inside the hotel offering hard-to-find spirits, handcrafted cocktails and cool tunes inside its darkly lit piano bar-esque scene.
